Phil & Lisa
Hoath House Feb 10th 2016
A very private affair was the order of the day for Phil & Lisa, just 25 guests at what was the most intimate wedding I have ever had the pleasure of photographing.
Hoath House was the perfect location for such a private day, a very pretty venue set in the rolling hills of Kent in Southern England.
On arriving it was easy to see the mood for the day, the groomsmen all wearing pink converse, the dogs Alfie and Arthur wearing bow ties made from the same material as the bridesmaids dresses.
There was a beautiful service with singing from 'The Papercuts', an act you often see in Lisas pub, The Prettygate in Colchester.
After the wedding service the sun shone for photos in the beautiful grounds and then everyone just sat and chilled out, chatting and drinking tea, a very English afternoon.
Dinner was then served in stunningly decorated dining room which was lit only by candle light and the evening progressed at the same relaxed pace, including speeches and even a pub quiz.
A perfect way to start my weddings for 2016 and a perfect way to for Phil & Lisa to begin their married life together.
Congratulations!!
Thank you to Hannah for assistance with shooting this wedding.
